Junto a Climate Tracker buscamos a 11 periodistas para cubrir la COP16 de Biodiversidad que se realizará en Cali, Colombia, del 21 de octubre al 1 de noviembre de 2024.
En el contexto de la crisis climática y sistémica que pone en riesgo la vida en el planeta, la COP16 es una oportunidad para debatir sobre los mecanismos de protección biocultural y territorial en América Latina y el Caribe tras la aprobación del Marco Global para la Biodiversidad Kunming-Montreal, durante la COP15. Con el objetivo de analizar las temáticas que se abordarán en la COP16, esta beca incluye capacitación, apoyo editorial y la oportunidad de reportear desde Cali, Colombia. La convocatoria está dirigida a periodistas de Bolivia, Brasil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, México, Panamá y Perú. 6 periodistas viajarán a Colombia y 5 periodistas realizarán cobertura virtual.
