La FES México ha trabajado con actores del sector público, privado, academia, jóvenes de alrededor de toda la República y organizaciones de la sociedad civil para construir una Agenda hacia un pacto socioambiental para México. Como en muchos otros países, este pacto debería avanzar en el debate sobre el futuro económico sostenible, así como las políticas públicas que lo fortalezcan. Por ello, en el 2022 se publicó la revista “Un pacto verde para México” junto con la creación de la página web pactoverde.mx, así como algunos eventos y talleres para jóvenes para fortalecer el debate sobre una transformación social-ecológica.

Desde otoño 2020, la FES México ha trabajado en el tema de agroecología, primero organizando mesas de diálogo como “Horizontes para una agricultura sostenible en México”, después con una publicación llamada “Agroecología: Oportunidades para la regeneración económica y ambiental” para analizar sobre qué políticas públicas se necesitan. Con esto, FES México ha reunido a expertas y expertos sobre el tema, actores del sector público, academia y productores para discutir sobre soluciones innovadoras para la transformación sostenible e inclusiva de la agricultura en México.
